About Carl
Carl is a registered Clinical Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. His Master of Social Work degree (clinical) is from Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada.
He is also a registered member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis (Ontario Division), and a certified and registered member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (USA) . In addition to providing psychotherapy using various therapeutic approaches, he can offer hypnotherapy for those who are interested.
Carl provides psychotherapy and hypnotherapy support for women, men, couples, teens, seniors, and families who are facing a situational or ongoing crisis and/or day-to-day challenges.
He has over 18 years of experience as a clinician in the field of community-based rehabilitation of individuals living with the life-changing effects of motor vehicle accidents (MVA's), including chronic pain, acquired brain injury and psychosocial adjustment difficulties. His work includes assessment; treatment planning; counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and small groups; report writing; and consultations. He has presented papers at conferences within and outside Canada, on acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
